A Dictionary ... of sorts

Welcome to the
ALPHA version of the
ASL to English Dictionary

The ASL-English Dictionary allows users to look up an English word based on an ASL sign (that is, go from ASL to English, instead of the other way around.) By describing the sign's handshapes and movement, you can look up the English word for that sign. Words are entered by volunteers and reviewed by registered users and made freely available online.
